What Is Concrete Leveling?

Concrete leveling (also called slab jacking or foam lifting) is a minimally invasive process that raises sunken concrete slabs back to their original position. Small, penny-sized holes are drilled through the slab, and high-density polyurethane foam is injected beneath it.

The foam expands to fill voids, compacts loose soil, and lifts the slab with precision. The holes are patched, and you can walk or drive on the surface within hours. It's faster, cleaner, and 60-70% less expensive than full slab replacement.

Signs You Need Concrete Leveling

Sunken concrete is more than an eyesore — it's a safety hazard and a sign of soil issues that will only worsen.

Uneven Slab Edges

Visible height differences between adjoining concrete sections — trip hazards waiting to happen.

Pooling Water

Water collecting on or against concrete surfaces instead of draining away — eroding soil and worsening settlement.

Cracked Slabs

Cracks radiating from settled areas indicate the slab is under stress from uneven support beneath.

Sunken Driveway

Driveway slabs that have sunk near the garage or where soil was backfilled during original construction.

Garage Floor Settlement

Garage slabs pulling away from the foundation wall or sloping toward the center — common in homes over 10 years old.

Porch & Patio Settling

Stoops, porches, and patios sinking away from the house — creating gaps where water infiltrates the foundation.

Our Concrete Leveling Solutions

Fast, clean, and permanent. Most jobs are completed in a single day with minimal disruption to your property.

Polyurethane Foam Injection

High-density, closed-cell foam injected through penny-sized holes. Expands to fill voids and lift slabs with millimeter precision.

Deep Foam Injection

For severe settlement, foam is injected at multiple depths to stabilize weak soil layers before lifting the slab above.

Void Filling

Foam fills washout voids beneath slabs caused by erosion, poor compaction, or plumbing leaks — preventing future settlement.

Joint & Crack Sealing

Flexible sealant applied to control joints and repaired cracks to prevent water infiltration and extend slab life.

Foam Lifting vs. Slab Replacement

Why tear out and replace concrete when you can lift it for less?

Factor Polyurethane Foam Lifting Full Slab Replacement
Cost 60–70% less Full demo + repour cost
Time to Complete 2–4 hours (most jobs) 3–7 days
Ready to Use Same day 7–14 day cure time
Mess & Disruption Minimal — penny-sized holes Full demolition, trucks, rebar
Soil Stabilization Yes — foam compacts soil No — same soil problems remain
Eco-Friendly No waste to landfill Tons of concrete waste
